The work on moving the Toyoko line between Daikanyama and Shibuya is in full swing. After that is completed in a couple of years, there'll be even more construction around the station as they modernize the buildings.
This will also connect the new Fuku-Toshin line to the Toyoko line, making the trip from the northwest corner of East Tokyo to the Tokyu and Yokohama area a bit easier.
It's kinda late now, but I'm sure that my dad would have enjoyed having this link in place when he used to commute from the Tokyu area of Tokyo to the northwest corner of East Tokyo.
