Italy took out Germany 2-0 in the semis of the World Cup, I was rooting for the Germans, so I'm a bit disappointed. I was also rooting for the Japanese, the Brazilians, the English, and the Spanish, so I've pulled a huge 0-fer.

Yeah, I'm bummed about Germany too. An Italy/France final would be very disappointing. I'd call it an "all-wuss" final. That said, I am glad Brazil got ousted, and I think it is great that their colonial master, Portugal, is still in the running...In fact, I just talked myself into supporting Portugal the rest of the way. Which means they'll lose.
And Italy vs. France it is. I'm sure a lot of people are excited about this one, but I'm not sure if I am. I would have rather seen Ghana vs. Sweden.
What? Togo v. Tunisia doesn't get you going? Or Iran v. USA? That would have been good. I am tempted to by some Iran gear. I wonder how that would be recieved here in the ol' usa...
