Glass houses

The new Apple store in New York with their impressive entrance. That's right a glass entrance, on FIFTH AVENUE!!! I'm not that impressed, though part of it is because I've only been to NYC once and I don't really get what the whole Fifth Avenue thing is. I truly enjoy going to Apple Stores and I'm sure if I go to this one, I'll have a blast. But, I used to work in a whole darn building made out of glass with massive elevators built on the outside of the building. That was impressive, especially when you walked up to the windows. . .all the outside walls in the building were essentially floor to ceiling windows. Not that it stopped anyone from throwing rocks.

今度ニューヨークで開店するアップルストア、売りがこのかっこいいガラスでできた入り口。しかも五番街！！！と言っても、そんなにテンションが高くならない。ニューヨークには一度しか行ったことが無くて、五番街がどんなにすごいか分からないのもあるけど、僕は基本的にアップルストアが好きでここに行っても普通に楽しむだろう。しかし、以前仕事した泉ガーデンタワーは全面ガラス張りのビル、そしてビルの外壁に出来ている巨大なガラスのエレベータ。ここはすごかった、窓が。。。外壁が全部天井から床までの窓になっていた。高所恐怖症の僕としてはたまらなかった。
