Went to the folks' house yesterday evening to pick up a couple of books that I had ordered from Amazon. They are currently renovating their place, and it was nice to see how things were progressing. It looked like no one was home, but when I entered the living room, I found that they had a new guard dog. Goro started talking to me and then taking pictures of me. I need to set up my Mom's PC so that Goro will start mailing the pictures of me and other future intruders to her via Wifi. . .no kidding. I got the little guy back by taking a picture of him.
アマゾンからオーダーしていた本を取りに昨晩親の家に向かった。現在改装中の家の中を歩き回り独りで「ホーッ」とかつぶやいていた。誰もいないかと思ったら、居間に入ったら番犬がいた。こっちに話しかけてきたり、デジカメで写真を何枚か取っていた。今度時間を作ってごろうが母のPCに僕やその他侵入者、不審者の写真を無線LAN経由でごろうが送るようにしないと。ごろうに対抗してこの写真をとった。
Dice, this scares me. Whatever happened to having like a real flesh and fur dog? And anyway, this could backfire if it happens to take pictures of guests who dont wish to be announced...
My father has a real aversion to pets like dogs (I believe it is due to his medical background and back to the days when animals were used more liberally) and my mother always had dogs around her when growing up. If I was home more often, I'd get a dog and just let my mother take care of it. . .but as it stands I would just feel sorry for the dog right now.
And yes, that dog could cause problems. . .but hey, what a great basis for a sitcom.
